Child Development
CHILD DEVELOPMENT is one of our crosscutting areas of work. To create an enabling environment for the children in which they can explore their potential to build self-confidence in a protective environment, we are running various programs including:
- Sponsorship Program
- Participation & Resiliency Program
- Alternative Forms of Child Care Program
- Rural Creche Initiatives
Through these programs, we facilitate the identification of children's issues and strategies to address them. Children’s collectives are playing an active role in this process. We are forming and capacitating these collectives to ensure the four basic rights of children:
- Right to Survival
- Right to Development
- Right to Protection
- Right to Participation
Numerous child clubs have been formed in both tribal and non-tribal areas, and they are integral to our integrated approach to child development.
