KARRTABYA has been running 4 child labour schools since 1996 with the support of MoL, GoI. Over 1000 child labourers have been rehabilitated, and 800 have been mainstreamed for higher education.

38 Educational Supportive Centres have been established in Th. Rampur Block to improve language and arithmetic skills of children in tribal areas.

8 bridge course centers in Dharamgarh block were running. Migrated families’ children along with dropout, slow learner students were getting opportunity of better education. Similarly 2 Education Supportive Centre are running in the tribal and unreachable village of Junagarh block i,e.. Dainiguda and Pipili under Budhidara Gram Panchayat.

Six RIP centers are operational, specifically designed to improve the reading skills of slow learners.

KARRTABYA operates 40 Balwadi centers to provide preschool education to children under the age of 5 in under-reached areas.

KARRTABYA gives free coaching to Navodaya aspirants & HSC appearing student. Till to day 12 children of Child Labour School and 5 students from DANDAPATA area has been admitted in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya by the marvelous effort of KARRTABYA. Similarly, we give free coaching to 10th class board examination appearing students. Students from needy and poor family of 26 villages availed free coaching.

KARRTABYA created awareness on importance of education in human life. Due migration the seasonal dropout is high. This leads to permanent dropout. We are trying to re enrolled of children and admission of 5+ children by joint effort of KARRTABYA & Children Club.

Right to Education Act is a historical act for children. In this Act the role of SMC is very vital. So KARRTABYA organized training programme on Right to Education, Child Right and school governance.

An area strategic sponsorship programme is going on with 550 children. This programme is meant for the overall development of deprive, excluded and vulnerable children in life cycle approaches. Besides these 100 most vulnerable children are getting right to family along with other basic rights. We are focusing institutional care should be last resort.
